Mon, 27 Jul 2015 09:30:00 +0000

DSI Comedy Camps

DSI camps will help students: Improve verbal ability; Enhance active listening skills; Build body awareness and Boost self-confidence. Improvisation can have a positive impact on students both on- and off-stage. By learning performance games in a safe environment, DSI students are encouraged to take risks and they develop the ability to both tell stories collaboratively and work in the moment.

DSI splits camps based on age: COMEDY CAMP 101 (Ages 8-10), COMEDY CAMP 201 (Ages 10-13), and COMEDY CAMP 301 (Ages 14-17). DSI Comedy Theater does not split camps based on experience; Students can register for a comedy camp level as long as they fit that age range by Sunday May 31, 2015.

Each session runs Monday-Friday from 930AM - 3PM at our theater in Chapel Hill.

Tuition is $195 for each one week program. Financial assistance may be available. High School students with improv experience may also apply for our youth internship program. Email camps@dsicomedy.com for more information.
